English 8 BEFORE ST ARTING THE ENGINE • Each time before starting the engine, inspect t he entire unit to see if every part is in good order and is securely tightened in place. If any damage is found in the fuel line, the exhaust line, or the ignition wiring, do not use the blower until it has been repaired.

English 15 SWIVEL JOINT 1. Connect the blower and swivel joint with flexible hose. Clamp both ends of the flexible hose securely with the hardware supplied wit h the unit. NOTE A light lubricant may be used to ease assembly of flexible h ose to blower tube.
English 16 HARNESS NOTE The harness must always be wo rn when working with the ma chine. Failure to do so means you will be unable to m aneuver safely and this can result in injury to yoursel f or others . A correctly adjusted harness and machine signifi cantly facilitates the work.
English 17 FUEL W ARNING • Gasoline is very flammable . A void smoking or bringing any flame or sparks near fuel. Make sure to stop the engine and allo w it cool before refueling the unit. Select outdoor bare ground for fueling and move at least 10ft (3m) away from the fueli ng point before starting the engine.
English 18 ST ARTING ENGINE IMPORT ANT • Avoid operating the blower with the flexible tube and swiv el joint disconnected. That will reduce th e cooling air and the eng ine could be damaged by overheat ing. 1. Push the primer bulb until fuel flows out in the clear tube.
English 19 ADJUSTING IDLE SPEED [ 3 30BT] • The idling speed is set for 3000 rpm at the factory . If it is necessary to adjust the idle speed, use the adjustment screw on the top side of carburetor .
English 20 Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission contro l device and systems may be perform ed by any non-road eng ine repair establishment or individual. W ARNING Make sure that the engine has stopped and is cool before performing any service to the blower.

English 22 AIR INLET NET IMPORT ANT • Blown air is taken in from the air inlet net. If the air flo w drops during opera- tion, stop the engine and inspect the air inlet net for blockag e by obstacles. • Note that failure to remove any such obstacles may result in the engine becoming overheated and damaged.
