English – 5 SAFETY INSTR UCTIONS 3. Muffler The muffler is designed to give the low est possible noise level and to direct the engine ’ s exhaust fumes away from the user . A muffler fitted with a catalytic converter is also designed to reduce harmful exhaust emissions.
6 – English 4. Cutters • Ensure that the cutters are securely attached. • When the blade is manufactured it is sharpened using an advanced method. This means that the blade cannot be re-sharpened using conventional methods. W orn blades must be replaced with new ones to ensure your machine works satisfactorily .

English – 11 FUEL HANDLING • Clean around the fuel cap. Contamination in the tank can disrupt operations. • Ensure that the fuel is well mixed by shaking the container before filling the tank. W ARNING! Always provide good ventilation when handling fuel.
12 – English ST ART AND ST OP Control before starting • Check the cutters. N ever use cutters that are blunt, cracked or damaged. • Check that the machine is in full working order . Check that all nuts and bolts are tightened correctly . • Check that the cutting attachment always stops when the engine is idling.
