This manual contains installation, operation, maintenance, and repair instruct ions for Model PH-20-30A Heaters manufactured by Hunter Manufacturing Company, Solon, Ohio.
1. Inspect the heater for damage that may hav e occurred during shipment.
LOCATION AND MOUNTING (cont .) 1. Mount the heater ho rizontally, as shown in figure 4. Choose a m ounting location that will enable mounting the heater on a level surface, with adequate room around the heater for removal and service. Check tha t the tilt switch is upright.

1. Locate and moun t the propane tank (gas bottle) aw ay f rom the engine and heater exhaust ports. The location should also p r otect the tank from accidental mechanical damage. 2. The propane tan k must be a gas bo ttle designed or modi fied for vapor takeoff only.
1. Refer to the wiring diagram in figure 7, locate the pow er and ground connections on your heater. The ground terminal is located one inch to the le f t of the f uel inlet. Connect this terminal to a good, clean chassis ground, using the wire size listed in Table 1.
