3 INTRODUC TION T o reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, DO NOT use this fan with any solid-state speed control device. Remove the setscrew from the plastic package. Extend the inner pole and install the setscrew into the screw hole on the inner pole.

11 M AINTENANCE This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication (oil) for the life of the fan. This fan requires little maintenance and contains no user ser viceable parts. DO NOT tr y to fix it yourself. Contact qualified ser vice personnel if ser vicing is needed.
