4 T o install a ceiling fan, b e sure you can do the following: • Lo cate the c eiling joist or other sui table supp ort in ceiling . • Drill ho les for and install woo d screws.

T o ass emble fan to hang down from a flat or angled ceiling , insert the downrod through the canopy and canopy trim ring.

W all switches are not inc luded. S elect an acceptable general-use switch in accordanc e with nat io nal and local elec trical codes.
