This pr ocedure allows you to reset the pr e-filter or filter counter before the indicators ar e lit.
41481-01 10-5-2001 9 ® CHANGING THE PRE-FIL TER In a typical envir onment, the pr e-filter should be changed every 2000 hours (appr oximately 3 months of use) to maintain pr oper odor - removing capability and overall filtration performance. Changing the pre-filter r egularly will also help extend the life of the HEP A filter .

Remove the new filter from its wrapping and look at the orientation of the rubber seals on the sides of the filter . The loose ends of the flaps should be facing out as the filter is placed into the air purifier .

The cor d wrap posts are located on the back of the air purifier in the bottom cor ners.
