41791-01 6 Operation Initial Operation This section provides basic instructions on the use of your air purif ier . After follo wing these initial directions, please continue reading this booklet to learn ho w to operate the more adv anced features of your air purifier .

First, line up the tab on the bottom of the grill with the recess on the purif ier base and then push the top of the grill forward until it is closed. Refer to Figs. 6 and 7. NO TE: This unit will not operate unless the grill is in the correct position.
41791-01 8 Operation Filter Life Counter s The pre-filter and f ilter are critical to the proper operation of the air purifier . T o help you know when to change the f ilters, your Hunter Air Purifier has Filter Life Counters that will monitor the percentage of life your filter has left.
9 41791-01 Operation Resetting the Air Purifier In the unusual situation that the unit or the display is exhibiting erratic beha vior , you may w ant to reset the air purif ier . If you still ha ve problems after resetting the air purif ier , please contact Hunter for additional assistance (refer to T echnical Assistance, pg.
41791-01 10 Air Purifier Maintenance Cleaning Y our Air Purifier Proper maintenance of your Hunter Air Purifier will help ensure years of trouble free service. F ollow these steps to properly maintain your air purifier: 1. Approximately e v ery 90 days, the outside of the unit should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
