41960-01 4 Description of Air Filtration System How the QuietFlo ® HEP A Air Purifier System W orks As the air is pulled into the purif ier , the acti vated carbon pre-f ilter absorbs odors and catches large particles. Then, the air trav els through the HEP A filter where the smaller particles are collected.

7 41960-01 Operation 6. Plug the unit into a 120V electrical outlet and press the UP ke y . The air pur i- f ier will start with a lo w blow er speed. 7. Use the UP/DO WN ke ys to adjust the blo wer speed to the desired lev el (0 = Off, 1 = Lo w , 2 = Medium, 3 = High).
41960-01 8 Pr ogramming Locking/Unloc king the Ke ypad Once you enter the desired speed, you may want to lock the ke ypad to pre vent accidental changing of the speed. When the ke ypad is locked, all ke ys will be disabled. If you press a ke y, the Ke ypad Loc ked Indicator will be displayed on the screen for 1-2 seconds.

F ollo w these steps to properly maintain your air purifier: 1. Approximately e very 90 days, the outside of the unit should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
41960-01 10 Air Purifier Maintenance 6. Install the grill back onto the unit. First, line up the tabs on the bottom of the grill with the openings on the purifier base and then push the top of the g rill forward until it is closed. 7. Plug in the air purif ier .
11 41960-01 Air Purifier Maintenance 6. Plug in the unit. NO TE: This unit will not operate unless the grill is in the correct position. 7. T o reset the filter counter , press the FIL TER RESET k ey for 2 seconds. The Filter Counter will return to 100% and the Filter indicator will stop flashing.
