5 Handset: Note: If the phone will no t be used for a lon g time, remove the b attery from the phone. Connecting the Pow er Adapter to the Base Note: When new phones are delivered, the batte ry power is low . Therefore, charge the phone for a while a nd then power on the phone the first time y ou use it.
6 Connecting a Handset to the Base Registering a Handset Register a handse t with the bas e before using it . Otherwise, you canno t use the handset. T o register a handset, do the following: 1. Press and hold the page/register key on the base until the power indicator blinks fast.
7 4. Press the end key to cancel or end the call. T ransferri ng a Call T o transfer an ongoing call tha t is from the outside line to another handset, do the follow ing: 1. Press the intercommunication ke y to scroll to the handset to w hich you w ant to transfer the call.

9 Signal Strength Is Weak 1. Check that the SIM ca rd i s installed pr operly . 2. Place the phone a t a location w here strong signal s can be receiv ed. Call V olume Is T oo High or T oo Low During a call, press navigation keys to adjust the volume.
10 On a stormy day w ith thunder , do not use your dev ice, to prevent any danger caused by lightning. When you are on a call, do no t touch the an tenna. T ouching the an tenna affect s the call quality and result s in increase i n power consumption.
11 Cleaning and Mainte nance The device, battery , and charger are not water-re sistan t. Keep them dry . Protect the device , battery , and charger from w ater or vapor . Do not touch the dev ice or the charger w ith a wet hand. Otherwise, it may lead to a short circuit, a malfunction of the dev ice, and an electri c shock to the us er .
