Preparations 4 Buttons Inserting a SIM/USIM card Your phone supports only SIM/USIM cards. Other sizes may not work properly. Contact your service provider to replace your current card or purchase a new one. Power off your phone before installing or removing the SIM/USIM card.
Preparations 5 Inserting a microSD card You can expand your phone's storage ca pacity with a microSD card. Follow the operations in the figure belo w to install a microSD card. To remove a microSD card: 1. On the home screen, touch . 2. Under DEVICE , touch Storage .
Preparations 6 Installing the battery 1. Open the battery cover. 2. Align the battery's metal contacts w ith those of the batt ery compartment, and press the other end of the battery to clip it into the battery co mpartment. 3. Close the battery cover.
Preparations 7 Battery indicator The battery indicator shows your phone's battery level. • Blinking red: The batt ery level is lower than 10%. • Steady red (when charging): Th e battery level is lower than 10%. • Steady yellow (when chargin g): Th e battery leve l is higher than 10%.

Calls 27 • Calls Smart diali ng In addition to standard call procedur es, smart dialing lets you quickly find contacts by entering parts of their names or numbers. 1. On the home screen, touch . 2. Enter a phone number or the initials or first several letters of a contact name.

Making a conference call Conference calling with your friends, fa mily, and co-workers is easy. Mak e or answer a call, and dial another nu mber to add the second participant to your conference call.
