14 2 1B Getting Started 2.1 14B Inserting SD Card 1. Open the Insert an SD card and make sure fa cing the touching face dow nward . Note: Please be careful to in sert the SD card(s) as illustrated above so that damage to the SD card( s) and ca mcorder does not occur.
15 2.2 Charging the Battery It is recommended that the NP-4 0 Lithium Batter y be fully char ged before use. First, connect the externa l battery charger to the AC power source (wa ll outlet or pow er strip). Next, p lug the ba ttery into the externa l charger as illustrated below .
16 2.3 15B Loading the Battery Please use only the battery provid ed or reco mmended by the manufacturer or dea ler. Note: Incorrectly in serting the batterie s could re sult in non -repairable damage.
