Use r’s Guide 2–1 2 Using Ac tiv eS ync Y ou can use Microsoft ActiveSync to: ■ Synchronize information between your iP A Q Pocket PC and your personal co mputer or server so that you ha ve th e latest information in all locations. ■ Change synchronization settin gs and the synchronization schedule.

Use r’s Guide 3–1 3 Manag ing the Battery Installing th e Ba t ter y The Pocket PC has a small intern al backup battery that allo ws you to change the main batte ry without losing RAM data (user-installed programs and data ) as long as it is replaced immediately .
