9 WWVB RADIO CONT ROLLED TIME The NIST (National Institute of Standards and Techn ology) radio station ( WWVB ) is located in Ft. Collins, Col o rado. It transmits an exact time signal continuously throughou t the most of the continental United States at 60 KHz frequency.
