69-1 188—03 4 3. Condensate T ray and Drain (Some Models) Condensation normally forms on the energy transfer core during the cold weather (below 27°F or -3°C). Moisture can build up when the warm a ir from your home comes in contact with the cold air from out side.
5 69-1 188—03 5a. Energy T ran sfer Core As the exhaust and fresh air pass thro ugh opposite sides o f the Energy T ransfer Core, heat is transferred from the warm side to the cold side. This heat transfer reduces the cost of conditioning the fres h outside air that is brough t into your home.
69-1 188—03 6 W ALL SWITCH A wall switch can also be used to switch yo ur ventil ator fan speed to hig h. The fan will run at high speed until the wa ll switch is turned off. The remote d evice can be wired to run the ven tilator at either the high or low spe ed.
