10 11 Fig. 4 ST ARTING AND STOPPING See Figure 3. Starting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold or warm. TO START A COLD ENGINE: n Place the blower on a flat, bare surface. n Make sure cruise control is locked in the IDLE position.
10 11 WIDE SWEEPER NOZZLE CRUISE CONTROL SELECTOR (THROTTLE LOCK) THROTTLE TRIGGER �� n Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to do the job. �� n Check your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes, and air filters.

After extended use the scr een can become dirty and you may need to have the muf fler replaced by an authorized servicing dealer . WARNING: Never run the blower without the spark arrestor in place.
