www .hi-ti.com 8 z CS-310/320 Back side* A. Power Sw itch This switch turns the power of the printer on or off. B. Power Socket Connect your power cord here. C. USB Connector Please connect the printer to a controlli ng device, such as a PC or a laptop, hereby using the build-in USB connector .
www .hi-ti.com 9 z Control Panel. A. LED Light T urn the power on. The prin ter will automatically initia te a system check and turn on the green LED light to indi cate that the printer status is normal. If an error occurs, an error message will be shown on the LCD display and flash the LED.

Open the cover of the cleaning module , as illustrated. 3. While holding the cover of the cleaning module open, insert the cleaning roller spool into the spool receivers.

www .hi-ti.com 17 2-3 Inst all CardDesiree CS 1. Insert the “Driver CD” into the CD-RO M drive, if the di sc doesn’t auto start, then please execute the “aut orun.exe” in the disc. 2. Select "Sof tware / CardDesiree CS" and install.
www .hi-ti.com 18 2-4 Driver Instruction Y ou can access the driver settings in Control Panel-> Printers . Select HiTi CS-310/320 and right-click the mouse button, then select “Printing Preferences”. The printer driver is divided into seven different categories (not including general properties) integrated in a main page.
www .hi-ti.com 19 [Device Option] Y ou can modify the settings of the card printer in this p age. A. Ribbon T ype: Select the ribbon type you want to use. 1. YMCKO ribbon,2. Resin K ribbon, 3. YMCO ribbon, 4. KO ribbon or 5. YMCKOK ribbon. B. Card T ype: Select the card type you want to use.

www .hi-ti.com 22 [Edit Area] A. Designed Area: Y ou can choose the default lay out setting or the custom layout previously designed and saved through the drop-down list. If you would like to create a new layout, please select [ User defined ]. B. Delete: Delete the layout setting file.

www .hi-ti.com 26 [ Magnetic Encoding ] A Magnetic Encoding Dat a: Input Magnetic Data directly . When you are not using the database, you can manually enter dat a for the encoding of the magnetic stripe. There are three tracks within the magnet ic stripe.

www .hi-ti.com 30 .. CARD OUT SNR The sensor for cards in the card-insert mechani sm. (ENABLE / DISABLE) . The default setting is [DISABLE]. However , once you switch [DISABLE] to [ENABLE] and there are no cards in the Card Input Hopper , the error message [CARD OUT] will be shown on the LCD display .

www .hi-ti.com 32 4-1 Clean Cleaning Roller 1. Switch the card printer off. 2. Slide the ID button and lift the ribbon door up. 3. Open the cover of the cleaning module and take the cleaning roller of f, as illustrated.
www .hi-ti.com 33 4-2 Clean Print Path z In S tand alone mode 1. T urn the power switch of the printer on. 2. The printer will check the system st atus automatically , and show “Ready” on the LCD display . 3. Click the [<] or [>] button, and select [Cleaning mode] to begin the cleaning process.
www .hi-ti.com 34 4-3 Clean TPH Head* 1. Please turn off the power before cleaning the TPH head. 2. Open the ribbon door , the TPH head is att ached to the ribbon door module. 3. Please use the sponge cleaning swab to clean the TPH head. ※ Notices: 1.
www .hi-ti.com 35 4-4 Clean Air Filter 1. Switch the card printer off. 2. Open the ribbon door . 3. Slide the air filter out from the side of ribbon door and clean the dust on the filter , as illustrated. 4. Insert the air filter into the ribbon door and close the ribbon door .
www .hi-ti.com 36 4-5 Cleaning Card-insert Mechanism 1. Switch the card printer off. 2. Open and empty the Card Input Hopper . After removing all the cards and the weight, please use the sponge cleaning sw ab to clean the rollers and the senso r on the card-insert mechanism.
www .hi-ti.com 37 4.6 Clean Ribbon Sensors 1. Switch the card printer off. 2. Open the ribbon door . 3. Remove the ribbon cassette. 4. Please use the sponge cleaning swab to clean the ribbon sensors, as shown. 5 . Please re-insert the ribbon cassette and close the ribbon door .

When the temperature is overheated, the pri nter will stop printing temporarily and cool the temperature down. The ca rd p rinter will continue until the temperature wi ll be below 60 ℃ .
