Use the audio and v ideo inputs to connect external devices, such as VCRs , camcorders, laser disc pl ayers, etc.

AUDIO SYSTEM SET-U P - 18 - The S-Video connection is provided for high perform ance laser discs, VCRs, etc., that have this f eature. Use this connection in place of the standard v ideo connection if your devic e has this feature. If your dev ice has only one audi o output (mono sound), connect it to the left audio jack on the TV.

CLOCK - 39 - CLOCK Use this feature for all time related function. CLOCK SET The time must be set before you can use the on/off timer or automatic messag e. Use the NUMBER buttons and CURSOR , to set the time. The A M or PM selected will be h ighlighted in red.

VIDEO - 41 - Use this function to check the day , month and year. Use the CURSOR , buttons to change the month. Press MENU to exit. VIDEO Select VIDEO to adjust pictur e settings, improv e picture quali ty and to adjust conver gence. PREFERENCE A DJUST Use this feature to adjust contr ast, color, tint, brig htness and sharpness.
VIDEO - 42 - TINT - Use this function to adjust flesh tones so they appear normal. BRIGHT - Use this function to adjust overall pi cture brightness. SHA RPNESS - Use this function to adjust the amount of fine detail in the pi cture. RESET - W hen RESET is selected, press ENTER to r eturn video adjustments to factory preset conditions.
VIDEO - 43 - SUPER CONTR (SUPE R CONTRA ST) Turn on SUPER CONTR to i mprove picture detai l in areas of high bri ghtness. CONVERGENCE CORRECTION Your Pr ojection TV has three color proj ection tubes: one for red, one for green, one for blue.

AUDIO - 46 - NOTE: If the optional lef t and right speakers are connected while in SURROUND-DOLBY CENTER EXPAN SION MODE-NOR MAL, the internal speakers may be turned off f o r better separation between the left, center, and right channels. The center channel audio will still be heard from the televi sions center speaker.
