4 3 Wir eless Series Model: D T- E W T S What is a Room Thermostat? A room thermostat simply switches the heating system on and o as nec essary. It works by sensing the air temperature, swit ching on the heating when the air temperature falls below the thermostat setting , and switching it o once this set temperature has been reached .

Room T emperature SET T emperature T emper ature Displa y The temperature displa y information is driven by two di erent inputs; the sensor measurement and the target tempera ture you have set . This is the current room temper ature. This is the temperature y ou are tr ying to achieve in your home.
Pressing the key once will plac e the thermostat in frost protect mode. In this mode, the thermostat will display the frost icon and will only turn the heating on should the room temperature dr op below the set frost temperature (see page 16). Should the heating be turned on whilst in frost mode, the ame symbol will be displayed.

The battery can provide power f or up to 6 months before r echarging is required in normal operating conditions. T o recharge the battery you need to connect the thermostat to a power sour ce.
