4 3 Wir eless Series Model : DT -EW What is a Room Thermostat? A room thermostat simply switches the heating system on and o as nec essary. It works by sensing the air temperature, swit ching on the heating when the air temperature falls below the thermostat setting , and switching it o once this set temperature has been reached .
6 5 Wir eless Series Model : DT -EW Installation Pr ocedure This wireless thermostat is designed to be surface mounted. Step 1 Carefully separate the fr ont half of the thermostat from the back plate b y placing a small at head terminal driver into the slots on the bottom fac e of the thermostat.
8 7 Wir eless Series Model : DT -EW Installing the Batteries 2x AAA batteries have been supplied with this thermostat. T o access the battery holder, push and r elease the compartment door located on the bottom face of the thermostat.
