4 3 Battery Series Model : DT -B What is a Room Thermostat? If your heating system is a boiler with radiators , there will usually be only one room thermostat to control the whole house . But you can have dier ent temperatures in individual rooms by installing thermostatic radiator v alves ( TRVs) on individual radiators.
6 5 Battery Series Model : DT -B 1 Installation Pr ocedure 3 4 This battery thermostat is designed to be sur face mounted. Step 1 Carefully separate the fr ont half of the thermostat from the back plate by placing a small at head terminal driver into the slots on the bottom fac e of the thermostat.
8 7 Battery Series Model : DT -B Installing the Batteries 2x AAA batteries have been supplied with this thermostat. T o access the battery holder, push and r elease the compartment door located on the bottom face of the thermostat.
10 9 Battery Series Model : DT -B Push the battery holder back inside the thermostat until it is secured in its closed position. Batteries have a x ed lifespan and will need to be replaced oc casionally to ensure the thermostat operates corr ectly.
