Using a Phillips/cr oss head screwdriver , loosen the screw in the batter y compar tment cover of each T AGGER (screw st ays attac hed t o cover). Remove cover . Inser t 6 x 1 .5V “ A A ” or LR6 size alkaline batteries. Replace cover and tighten screw.

TO HOOK UP THE T AGGER T O THE HUD (HEADS UP DISPLA Y) HEADSET SYSTEM Plug this end of t he Connector Cable int o t he HUD (HEADS UP DISPL A Y) Cable Por t. Plug this end of t he Connector Cable into the HUD port on the T AGGER. S TICKERS Several sticker s have been included for you to decorate your T AGGER.
TO WEAR THE HUD (HEADS UP DISPL A Y) HEADSET SYS TEM 1 . Wake up the TA GGER by pr essing t he TRIGGER. 2. Put the HUD (HEADS UP DISPLA Y) HEADSET on over your head, similar to putting on a pair of sunglasses. T ake the right side of the headband, and s tretch it across t he bac k of you head, and loop it t hrough the holder on the lef t side.
Common to all LAZER T AG games are: •Lock-On – Y our on your L CD scr een will blink to indicate that t here is anot her player in your sight. The gr een light icon in the HUD (HEADS UP DISPL A Y) will also f lash. T ag your opponent when you ar e loc k ed-on.
•T eam T ags – The Hos t can choose whether tags from your own teammates will or will not af fect you. Make sur e you ask whether the T AG MAS TER has selected T eam T ags or not! T agging members of your own team counts agains t your ranking at the end of t he g ame and in some g ames can hur t your team’s ranking as well.
Medic Mode is used to give assist ance t o, or r eceive assis tance from, other player s on your team. It can be used to assist a player who is in danger of being t agged out, or to build-up one of your t eam’s pla yer s int o a “bulldog” by giving t hem the ability to t ake extra t ags.

1 . CL ASSIC L AZER T AG (L T AG) The object of t his g ame is to be the las t player not tagg ed out. It is an agg ressive, go-get-em type of game. In the Classic LAZER T AG game, all ot her player s are your opponents.
In these games, some of t he ot her players are on the same team as you, while ot hers are on one or two opposing teams. It is im port ant that you work wit h your teammat es in or der t o achieve a high t eam r anking.
• Reloads – 0-99 or Unlimited (default =5) • Mega- T ags – 0-99 or Unlimited (def ault =1 5) • Shields – 0-99 seconds (default =30) • T ags – 1-99 (default =25) • Ranking is individu.
The Kings on any of the teams are not known t o the other teams, the onl y clue is that the King’s T AGGER will not send out an IFF signal. This prevents enemy player s from snif fing f or his IFF signal, but also makes it easier for them to det ermine that he is in f act t he King once they do find him.
A player may remain in the Zone as long as he/she is not “Neutralized.” When a player t ak es a T ag from any other player , whether he/she is in t he Zone or not, the tagg ed player becomes “Neutr alized” f or 1 5 seconds. The neutralized T AGGER will display “NEUT” wit h a f if teen-second countdown.
• Ranking is individual onl y - Individual ranks are based only on t he player’s accumulated Zone Time. 1 0. 2- TEAMS OWN THE ZONE (2TOZ) AND 1 1 . 3- TEAMS OWN THE ZONE (3TOZ) The object of t he g ame is to accumulat e as much collective Zone Time as possible f or the whole t eam.
