ADV ANCED FEATURES 53 ENGLISH T he A VR is equipped with a number of advanced features that add extra flexibility to the unit’ s operation. While it is not necessary to use these features to operate the unit, they provide addi- tional options that you may wish to use .
54 ADV ANCED FEATURES Advanced Featur es Semi-OSD Settings T he semi-OSD system places one line messages at the lower third of the video display screen whenever the V olume , Input Source , Surround mode or tuner frequency of any of the configura- tion settings are changed.

T o correct this problem, first unplug the unit from the AC wall outlet and w ait at least three minutes .
