Grounding/V oltage W arning Common household current is 110-120 volts . As long as the outlet used with the tool is rated from 110-120V there will be no complications using it with household receptacles. Plug the tool into a 110-120V properly grounded outlet protected b y a 15-amp , dual element time dela y or circuit break er .
The Stand Step 1) Attach the F ront Side Plate (#16A) to both of the Side Link Plates (par t #19A). Inser t two Screws (#17A) through F ront Side Plate and through Side Link Plate. Slide on W ashers (#7A) and Nut (#6A). Tighten into place . Repeat for the other side - see Figure 1.
Step 9) Attach the T apping Plate (#25A) with Right and Left T apping F enders (#23A & #27A) to the Left Protecting Plate (#26A). Insert the Screws (#17A) with head on the outside of the Plate. On the inside, slide on Washer (#7A) and Nut (#6A)-see Figure 2.
Cutterhead Guard W arning: Be ware of sharp blade when installing the Cutterhead Guard. Step 1) Inside of the Spring Knob (#37) there is a Spring (#36) which returns the Guard toits position abov e the Cutterhead after a cut. T o create tension in the Spr ing, tur n the Spring Knob (#37) bef ore inser ting the post.
Step 2) Flip the square jib so that its end sits against the flat par t of the Plate (18)-see Figure 7. Step 3) Using an Allen Wrench, attach this assemb ly to the F ence (#11) with the three Hex Scre ws (#24)-see Figure 6.
Fence Adjustments The F ence (par t #11) is assembled to the front of the Inf eed T ab le (#33). The F ence can be moved across the T ab le and can be tilted 45 degrees right or left by using the Handle P ole (#29). Step 1) T o move the F ence (#11) across the T able , turn the Handle Pole (#29) to loosen.
Step 4) If the knife is not aligned at one or both sides, loosen Bolts (60) which hold the Knife Lock Bar (61). Use a knife setting gauge (not included) to make sure that the knife at each end of the cutter is the same height. Repeat for the next two (2) knives as is fitting.
Step 8) Secure the rear table in position and remove the feeler gauge. Step 9) Lower the infeed table and place a straight edge on the outfeed table so that it e xtends out o ver the cutterhead. Step 10) T urn the cutterhead by hand until the knif e is at its highest point at each end of the cutterhead.
