Most connector wires are color-coded. Match the color of the wires leaving the switch or LED to the same pin on the connector end.

If you disable this option, the IDE controller will work in PIO mode. When IDE busmaster is enabled, the IDE busmastering drivers must used for the operating systems.

Chapter 2 AMIBIOS Setup 75 Advanced CMOS Setup, Continued VOLTAGE MONITORING VOLTAGE MONITORING You can use this screen to monitor the voltage of the CPU, VCC, and board. To access this screen, select a voltage item on the System Health Monitoring screen and press <Enter>.

To access this screen, select the CPU or chassis fan speed item on the System Health Monitoring screen and press <Enter>.

Chapter 2 AMIBIOS Setup 81 PCI/PnP Setup, Continued PCI LATENCY TIMERS PCI LATENCY TIMERS You can use this screen to specify the latency timings (in PCI clocks) for PCI devices installed in the expansion slots. To access this screen, select PCI Latency Timers on the PCP/PnP Setup screen and press <Enter>.
MegaDual PCI Motherboard User’s Guide 82 PCI/PnP Setup, Continued Onboard USB Latency Time This option specifies the latency timings (in PCI clocks) for the onboard USB. The settings are 32, 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224, or 248 . The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are 64.
Chapter 2 AMIBIOS Setup 83 Section 5 Power Management Setup Choose Power Management Setup from the AMIBIOS Setup main menu. All Power Management Setup options are described in this section.
MegaDual PCI Motherboard User’s Guide 84 Power Management Power Button Mode This option specifies how the power button mounted externally on the computer chassis is used. The settings are: Setting Description On/Off Pushing the power button turns the computer on or off.
Chapter 2 AMIBIOS Setup 85 Power Management, Continued Hard Disk Time Out (Minute) This option specifies the length of a period of hard disk drive inactivity. When this length of time expires, the computer enters power-conserving state specified in the Hard Disk Power Down Mode option.
MegaDual PCI Motherboard User’s Guide 86 Power Management, Continued Manual Throttle Ratio In power management state, BIOS can throttle the CPU clock to reduce power consumption. For example, a throttle ratio of 50% means the clock is turned off 50% of the time.
