On the Cha nge S etting s screen, select No or Yes : Click No if you want the p rint serv er to keep using the default IP address and ke ep the default setti ngs: • IP address: 192.16 8.0.10 • Subnet Mask: 255.2 55.255 .0 Click Yes if you want cha nge IP address t o th e print server, and then click Nex t .

23 Pr opert ies – TCP /IP O pti on s The TCP/IP options al low you to modify the print server’s TCP/IP settings. E ach option is detailed as f ollows. Obtain an IP address fr om a DHCP server : This op tion en ables or disables the DHCP fe atur e of the print server.

26 4 Int ernet Print e r Connec ti on and HP Web JetAdmin IPP Ov er view Print serve r(s) support the Inter net Prin ting Protocol (IPP). Using the app ropria te softw are on your system, you can cr eate an IPP print path fr om your syste m as Windows PC over the Internet.

The setup menu of the pri nt server helps administrator to setup the p r int s erver’s S y s tem, Printer, NetWare, T CP/IP , SNMP and AppleTalk.

It i s therefore necessary t o first assign an IP add ress to your prin t server unit.
