GB Warning: Only for Hamax Plus luggage carriers. This user manual provides instructions for tting the seat to a Hamax PLUS Premium Carrier (5). It can also be tted to other carriers in the Hamax PLUS range, e.g. the Hamax PLUS Basic Carrier (5a).

1 GB Fitting the seat to a Hamax PLUS carrier: Push the seat from behind onto the Hamax PLUS Carrier (5) until you hear a “click” from the safety handle (2 ) as it locks into position.
2 GB Check that the lock wheel (1) is in the unlocked position before adjusting the seat longitudinally , max. 10 cm between the gravity mark on the seat and the back wheel hub. After adjustment, lock the seat in position by turning the lock wheel (1) tightly to locked position.
3 GB Extra safety strap: The Hamax PLUS Seat is approved according to EN 14344. This is the international standard for child bicycle seats. EN 14344 demands that child seats mounted on a carrier shall have an extra security device. T o fulll this standard, and extra safety strap (4) is attached to the seat.

GB Positioning the child seat: If the child seat is in rear position, but still too close to the bicycle seat, there are two options: 1) Move the bicycle seat forwards 2) Move the carrier and the child seat backwards. The last option is executed by using the adjustment options mentioned on the next page.
