Please note the following information when setting up your tele vision set. This television set is designed to r eceive and display video and audio signals. Any other use is e xpressly pr ohibited. External light falling on the screen impairs picture quality.
The screen of y our L CD television meets the highest qualit y standards and has been checked for pix el faults. Despite the great care tak en in manufactur ing, technological reasons mak e it impossible to completely discount the possibilit y that some pixels may be faulty.

ENGLISH 23 Changing the picture f ormat The television automatically switches to the 1 6:9 format if this format is detected via the Euro- A V socket. 1 Select the picture format with » E «. The selected picture format, for example »1 6:9«, appears on the screen.

ENGLISH 31 The file formats Y our television can be operated via the USB input with the following file formats: MP4 video data The MP4 process w as designed to compress video files. An MP4 video is an encoder/decoder , based on t he MPEG-4 com- pression system, which is used to decrypt and display compressed video data.
32 Connecting e xternal data media Before connecting the data medium, switch the television to stand-by with » 8 «. Connect the device and then switch the television on again. Before connecting the data medium, the television must first be switched to standby , other wise files can be damaged.
ENGLISH 33 The file brow ser The file bro wser displays the data (A VI., JPEG, MP3, MP4 or WMA data) that the external data medium offers. If a data medium contains different file formats, you can deactiv ate data you do not need for the playback using a filter function (All Suppor ted, T ext, Movie, Music, Photo).
