Picasa Getting Star ted Guide Picasa is free phot o management software from Google that helps y ou find, edit and share y our photos in seconds. W e recommend that y ou print out this brief ov erview of Picasa’s main f eatures and consult it as you use the pr ogram for the first time to learn about ne w featur es quickly .
Folder list The left-hand list in Picasa’s Library view sho ws all the folders containing photos on y our computer and all the albums you ’ve cr eated in Picasa. These folders and albums are gr ouped into collections that ar e described in the next section.

Wa rmify – W arm up a cool photo, impro ving skin tones. Film Grain – Add a “grainy” film look to any p hoto – looks great when y ou print. Tint – Use the dropper to pick a color and apply that duo tone or tint to the entire photo. Saturation – Increases color saturation.
Hold Use the “Hold” button t o keep a phot o in the tra y as you add more photos. Y o u can add multiple phot os to the tra y by holding down th e Shif t ke y as you select pho tos. Clear Click the “Clear” button to empty the “Pho to T ra y” of all photos on hol d.
