1 INDOOR MANUAL TRANSFER SWITCHES For Models 200660, 300 660, 301060, 501 210, 601210 INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Warning : Gen/Tran transfer switches sho uld be installed by a pro fessional electrician familiar wit h electrical wiring and codes, and ex p erienced in worki ng with generators.
2 Planning Your Installation: 1. Determine the appliances, circui ts or equipment you want to operate with generator power during a power outage, s uch as: • Furnace • TV / Radio • Refrigerator .
3 For Flush-M ount Installa ti on – New Construction: 1. The transfer switch should be installed at the same time as the ma in load center in adjacent st ud openings in the wall. Remove the six screws that secure th e interior assembly of the transfer switch to the switch enclosure.
4 Transferring from Generator Power to Utility Power: 1. On the transfer switch, t urn Generator MAIN breaker OFF and turn Utility MAIN breaker ON. 2. Turn ON any branch ci rcuit breakers in the tran sfer switch that are OFF . 3. Shut down the generator, f ollowing the proc edures in the generator Owner’s Manual.
