P OWER SUPPL Y LOCA TIONS Gas Supply: • The natural gas models are designed to opera te at 5" water column pr essure. For proper operation, the pressur e of the natural gas supplied to the regulator must be between 7" and 13" w ater column.
Installation Pr eparation 4- WI RE POW ER C OR D IN ST A LLA TI ON NO TE: A 4-wire cord is connected to the range at the factory. Use the following steps to change an existing installation from a 3-wir e cord back to a 4-wire cor d.
REMOVE P ACKA GING • Cut the metal banding. Lift the carton straight up. • Locate the two runner strips from the top of the packaging. These strips will be used to protect the kitchen floor during installation. • Remove corner posts. Dispose of packaging materials.
2 Lift the toekick out of the foam base. Installation Pr eparation MOVE THE RANGE INDOORS 1 Tilt the range forward on the skid. STEP 2 3 Drive the blade of the hand-truck beneath the foam block . 6 Place the appliance runners on the floor at the left and right sides in front of the opening.
INST ALL ANTI-TIP DE VICE STEP 3 Installation 13 Anti-Tip Parts Provided • Attach the anti-tip brace onto the bottom of the range in the recessed ar ea. Install 2 hex screws (provided) thr ough the brace and into the range. NO TE: This anti-tip device may be installed on the opposite side of the range.
IMP ORT ANT : Disconnect the range and the individual shut-off valv e from the gas supply piping system during any pressur e testing of that system at test pressur es greater than 1/2 psig.
15 REPL ACE O VEN DOOR(S) Skip this step if oven doors are in place. IMP ORT ANT : Do not lift the door by the handle. T o replace the oven doors: • Firmly grasp the door at the top sides . This is critical. • Ap pro ach th e rang e wit h the do or ang led in a v ertica l position.
Installation CHECK BURNERS Check to be sure that burner heads and caps are secur ely seated. • Check for proper ignit ion: – Push in one control knob and turn to LITE position. – The igniter will spark and the burner will light; the igniter will cease sparking when the burner is lit .
17 Installation AC CESSORIES—TOEKICK (pr ovided) • Install the toekick after the range has been leveled. • Measure t he distance between the floor and the bottom of range. • Loosen the two scr ews on each end. Adjust the toekick height by sliding the upper and lower pieces apart to 1/8" less than the measured height .

EMPL ACEMENT DES ALIMENT A TIONS Alimentation de gaz : • Les modèles au gaz naturel ont été conçus pour fonctionner à une pression de 5" (12,7 cm) colonne d’eau. Pour un fonctionnement optimal, la pression du gaz natur el qui alimente le régulateur doit se situer entr e 7" (17,8 cm) et 13" (33 cm) colonne d’eau.
Pr éparation de l’installation IN ST A LLA T IO N DU C OR DO N D’ A LIM EN T A TI ON 4 F IL S REMARQUE : Un cordon à 4 fils est branché à la cuisinière en usine. Suivez la pr océdure suivante pour modifier l’installation existante et passer du cordon 3 fils à un 4 fils.
SOR TEZ L’ APP AREIL DE SON EMBALL AGE • Coupez les bandes métalliques. Soulevez le carton. •Localisez les deux bandes du dessus de l’emballage. Ces bandes serviront à protéger le sol de la cuisine pendant l’installation. • Retir ez les montants d’angle.

IMP ORT ANT : Débranchez la cuisinière et le robinet de fermeture du conduit d’ alimentation de gaz pendant le test de pression du système à des pressions de test supérieur es à 1/2 psig.

Installation VÉRIFIEZ LES BRÛLEURS Assurez-vous que les chapeaux et les têtes du brûleur sont correctement installés. • V érifiez l’allumage : – Appuyez sur un bouton de commande et tournez-le sur LITE (feu doux). – L’ allumeur va émettre des étincelles et le brûleur va s’ allumer .
