5 COOKTOP USE Electric igniters automa t ically light the sur face burners when contr ol knobs are turned to IGNITE. Befor e setting a contr o l kn ob, place filled co okware on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookwar e or without cookwar e on the grate.
6 Gas tube opening: Gas must flow freely throughout the gas tube opening for the burner to light pr operly . Keep this ar ea fr ee of soil and do not allow spills, food, cleaning agents or any other material to enter the gas tube opening. Keep spillovers out of the gas tube by always using a burner cap.
