2 Congratulations on your purchase of the GE Univ ersal Remote Control. The GE Universal Remote Contr ol is one of the most easy to use remote contr ols available today.
3 Y our universal remote r equires two (2) AAA Alkaline batteries (not included). T o Install the Batteries 1. On the back of the remote, push down on the tab and lift the cover off. 2. Match the (+) and (-) marks on the batteries to the (+) and (-) marks inside the battery compartment , then insert two (2) AAA Alkaline batteries.

6 Programming Y our Remot e Y our GE universal remote contr ol is designed to control multiple audio/video devices such as TV , DVD , DVR , satellite, cable and audio using only one remote. T o use this remote, y ou will need to program it to control the devices of your choice.
