4 ww w . ga teway . com Star ting the monitor T o start the monitor: 1 Press the power button on the front of mo nitor . The power LED on the power button turns on. 2 T urn on your co mputer . 3 After your computer is running, the power LED on the monitor’ s power button should be blue.
5 www .gatew ay .com A djusting monitor settings Use the external co ntrols (loca ted o n the mo nitor itself) and softwa re co ntrols (ac cessible in W indows) to adjust th e display image. Fo r more information about software controls, see “Software c ontrols” on page 9.

T o lock the control buttons: 1 Press and hold the MENU a n d buttons togeth er for five seconds. 2 T o unlock the control buttons, press and hold the MENU and buttons together for five seconds.

F or example, you can increase the resolution to fit mo re icons on your desktop, or you can decrease the resolution to make reading and identifying obj ects on the monitor easier .
