On the side of your nüvifone, ip up the rectangular plastic cap and slide it over to reveal the microSD card slot. 2. Insert the microSD card with the contacts facing the nüvifone screen.

nüvifone G60 user ’s guide 25 Search for Locations Enter Coordinates If you know the geographic coordinates of your destination, you can navigate to your destination using the latitude and longitude coordinates. This can be especially helpful when geocaching.
26 nüvifone G60 user ’s guide Search for Locations T ouch > Send Location to send the coordinates of the selected location in a location message. See page 37 for more information. Plan and Save a Route Y ou can plan and save custom routes that include multiple via points.
nüvifone G60 user ’s guide 27 Follow Y our Route Follow Y our Route After you have selected a location, your nüvifone creates a route to the location. Y our route is marked with a magenta line. As you travel, your nüvifone guides you to your destination with voice prompts, arrows on the map, and directions at the top of the map.
28 nüvifone G60 user ’s guide Follow Y our Route View the Next T urn Page When you are navigating a route, the Next T urn page shows the turn on the map and the distance and time left before you reach the turn. From the map, touch the turn indicator in the top left corner .

30 nüvifone G60 user ’s guide Follow Y our Route Use the Compass Y our nüvifone contains a multi-axis compass that can be used while driving or walking, in portrait or landscape mode. The compass appears on the T rip Computer page. As you travel, the compass rotates to indicate your direction of travel.
nüvifone G60 user ’s guide 31 Follow Y our Route About Usage Modes There are two usage modes: Automobile and Pedestrian. In Automobile mode, your nüvifone calculates routes for automobiles. These routes obey trafc laws, such as one-way streets.

Non-nüvifone users receive a plain text message with location information. NOTE: Use caution when sharing your location information with others.

If additional information is required, your nüvifone prompts you to enter the required information. Account information is available from your e-mail account provider .

If necessary , touch From: to select the e-mail account from which you want to send the e-mail message. Ciao! periodically sends your location to our partner networks and downloads the most recent location of your friends. Y ou can also set the calendar to remind you of your appointments. If you use Outlook on your computer , you can synchronize appointments between your nüvifone and your computer .
