2 LifeBook P7000 Notebook BIOS LifeBook P Series Notebook BIOS BIOS SETUP UTILITY The BIOS Setup Utility is a program that sets up the operating en vironment for y our not ebook. Y our BIOS is set at the factor y for normal operating conditions, therefor e ther e is no need to set or c hange the BIOS en vironment to o perate your n otebook.

5 Drive0: Selects the Drive0 Serial A T A drive submenu The product number of the hard drive. Displays the type of device on this A T A/A T API interface, if there is one. Pressing the Enter key selects the Pr imary Ma ster subm enu allowi ng addi- tional device configuration options for this interface.

7 LBA Mode Control: ■ Disabled ■ Enabled [Enabled] Enables or disables log ical Block Ad dressing in place of Cylinder , Head, Sector addressing. This setting is automatically se lected when [Auto] is selected as the T ype.

9 Exiting fr om Main M enu W hen you ha ve finished setting the parame ters on this menu, y ou can either exit from the setup utilit y , or move t o another menu. If y ou w ish to exit from the setup utility , press the [ Esc ] key or use the cursor keys to go to the Exit menu.
10 LifeBook P7000 Notebook BIOS ADV ANCED MENU - SETTING DEVICE FEA TURE CONTROLS The Ad vanced M enu allows you to: ■ Select between the display panel and an e x ternal CR T display . ■ Enable or disable compensation for your display . ■ Configure CPU and USB features.
11 Miscellaneous Configurations When selected, opens the Miscellaneous Configurations s ubmenu, w hich allows you to change th e power bu tton, W ake Up On LAN, V olume settings, video memory size , hardware pow er management, and power -on LED illumi- nation.
