Y our BIOS is set at the factory for normal operating condi- tion s, therefo re there is no need to set or change the BIOS env ironment to oper ate your n otebo ok.

7 Sector s: n A number betw een 0 and 6 3 –— This appears on ly when Hard Disk is selected. When Hard Disk is selected, you can chan ge the value. This fie ld is incremented by pressing the [Spaceb ar]) or by pres sing [Shif t] [+]. This fiel d is decrement ed by pressing the [-] key .
8 LifeBo ok C Series BI OS CAUTION n A bootable C D-ROM m ay have a floppy disk format or a hard drive fo rmat. When the bootable CD-RO M is used, the drive allocat ions change auto matically without changing the BIO S setup. If a floppy disk for- mat CD-ROM is used, the C D-ROM becomes Drive A.
