31 User Installable Features Lithium ion Battery Y our LifeBook notebook has a Lithium ion battery that pro vides power for operating your notebook when no external po wer source is a vailable. The battery is dur able and long lasting , but should not be ex posed to extreme temperatures, high voltages, chemic als or other haza rds.

Once y our notebook goes into Dead Battery Suspend mode you will be unable t o resume operation until y ou pro vide a source of power either fr om an adapter , or a charged battery .

49 T roubleshooting The Optical Drive A ccess indicator on the Status Indicator P anel blinks at regular intervals w hen no disc is in the tray or the optical drive is not installed. The auto inse r tion function is activ e and is checking to see if a disc is ready to run.
