E-3 English INFORMATION • Receptacle Make sure that the power cord’ s grounding wire is grounded. The display comes with a 3-prong power plug; one prong is connected to the grounding wi re. If you have only a 2-hole receptacl e, you will need to have it repl aced.

E-12 USING THE REMOTE CONTROL • T o prevent malfunction, do not apply any form o f severe shock to the remote control. • T o prevent malfunction or deformation, do not allow the remote control to become wet and keep it away fro m hot surfaces or hea ting equipment.

E-17 English EXAMPLE OF CONNECTING EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT • Connect the V ideo signal cable to the HDMI input terminal, Com ponent V ideo input termin al, or SCAR T terminal. • If the equipment to be connected is equippe d with HDMI out put terminal and Component V ideo output terminal , it is recommended to connect to only one of the terminals.

The display uses th e first-in, first-out method; t herefore, the first input signal is cleared when the fifth one is input.

Be sure not to clean the display using a cl oth dampened with volatile solv ents, such as benzene or thinner . Such solvents can harm the display’ s cabinet, the filter at the sc reen front, and the remote control.
