For satisfactory use of your oven, become familiar with the various features and functions of the ov en as described below . Detailed instructions for each feature and function follow later in this Use & Care Guide.
24 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM CONTROL PAD SETTINGS All of the features listed below have minimum and maximum time or temperature settings that may be entered into the control. An ENTRY acceptance beep will sound each time a control pad is touched (the acceptance beep on the Oven Lockout pad is delay ed 3 seconds).

26 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS SETTING MINUTE TIMER The TIMER ON . OFF pad controls the Minute Timer feature. The Minute Timer serves as an extra timer in the kitchen that will beep when the set time has run out. It does not start or stop cooking. The Minute Timer feature can be used during an y of the other oven contr ol functions.
27 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS PREHEAT The REHEAT pad controls the Preheat feature. The Preheat feature will bring the oven up to temperature and then indicate when to place the food in the oven.

30 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE Pressing CANCEL w i l l s t o p th e fe at u r e a t a n y t i m e . SETTING CONVECTION BROIL Use this mode for thicker cuts of meat, sh and poultry . The Convection Broiling gently browns the exterior and seals in the juices.
31 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE Baking time can be set for any amount of time between 1 minute to 6 hours. The time remaining can be shown in the timer section of the display by pressing at any moment of the cooking.
32 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE T o assure your electron ic controls saf ety when broilin g with the oven door in broil position, an high speed cooling fan will blow air through the trims above the door(s). SETTING BROIL This mode is best for meats, sh and poultry up to 1” thick.
33 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS NOTE The Chick en Nugget s featur e is autom atical ly progr ammed to activate the Keep W arm feature when the cooking is nished. “ HLD ” will be displa ye d for a maximum of 3 hours. See the K eep W arm feature for mor e information.
34 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS This mode is best for keeping ov en baked foods warm for serving after cooking has nished. The pad turns ON the K eep Warm featur e and will maintain an oven temperature of 170°F .
35 SETTING OVEN CONTROLS SETTING THE SABBATH FEATURE (for use on the Jewish Sabbath & Holidays) The and DELAY START pads are used to set the Sabbath feature. The Sabbath feature may only be used with the pad.

37 What to Expect during Cleaning Wh i le th e ov en is in op er ati o n, th e ov en hea t s to tem pe ra tu r es much higher than those used in normal cooking. Sounds of metal expansion and contraction are normal. Odor is also normal as the food soil is being removed.
38 SELF-CLEANING NOTE If a 2 or 4 hour clean time is desired, press SELF CLEAN multiple times to toggle between 2, 3 or 4 hours.
