30 -EN Pro Logic proc essing can be cond ucted on the music signals recorded on two channels to achieve Dolby P ro Logic II surr ound sound. For two-channe l Dolby Digital and DT S signals, there is also a “REAR FILL” func tion for out putting the signals o f the front c hannel to t he rear channel .
31 -E N Becaus e of the particular conditions in side the vehicle, the re can be major dif ferences i n the d istances betwee n the v ario us speak ers and the listen ing positi on. It is possi ble to calculate the op timum co rrection values and elim inate the time error at the listening position yourself using th is func tion.
32 -EN Adjusting the Level T ouch [ ] or [ ] of the desired frequency to adjust the level. • When the speak er is set to th e “OFF” mode, th e graphi c equali zer for that speaker can not be set.
33 -E N Setting item: Mult i CH Setup Adjusting the a coustic image ( Bi-Phantom) In most installati ons, the center speaker m ust be pla ced direc tly betwe en the front pass enger and driver . Using thi s functio n, the center channe l informat ion is distri buted to t he lef t and ri ght sp eakers.
34 -EN The volume (signal lev el) for Dolby D igital, Dolby PL II, DTS a nd PCM mod es can be set. • A void stopping, paus ing, switching the disc, cueing, fast-forwa r ding or swit ching the audio chann el of this unit while making t his adjust ment.
35 -E N Adjusting Sound Setting in M anual Mode Y ou c an ch ange these sound se ttings t o create yo ur own prefer ence when th e MultE Q mode is set to OF F (Manu al Mode). 1 Check that Defeat mode is off . 2 Press and ho ld SETUP for at least 2 seco nds.
36 -EN • When OFF is selected , MX effe ct of each MX mode will be OFF . • Each music source, such as r adio, CD and MP3 /WMA/AAC can have its ow n MX se tting. • MX mode does not function when MX is ON for AM radio. • MX CMPM is appl ied for MP3/W MA/AAC and iPhone/iP od.
