6 Remo ve pack aging materials Remove and dispose of or recycle packaging materials. Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the air conditioner . Rub a small amound of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your fi ngers. Wipe with warm water and dry .
7 7 Window Installation (on some models) NOTE S: ■ Handle air condi tioner carefully and gentl y . ■ Be sure your air condit ioner cabinet does not fall out of t he opening durin g installation or r emoval. ■ The place where the power cord exits the air condi tioner should be no more than 4 ft (122 cm) from a grounded 3p r o n g power outlet.

9 2. Using #10 x ⁷⁄₈ " pan-h ead Phil lips sc rews, attach bracke t to cabinet . Repeat for othe r bracket. 3. Loosen locking nut and t ur n t he adjus tme nt bolt (C) for eac h bracket u ntil th e bolt touches t he wall ( B). 4. Tighten the l ocking nut on adjustmen t bolt to lock in position .
