Push the grille up from the bottom and pull the top of the grille aw ay from the case to lift the top tabs out of their slots.

(Ref er to Section 2.3.1) 4. After discharging the unit completely , unbrace the suction and discharge pipes at the compressor connections.

— 12 — 2 . 4.4 ELECTRICAL D AT A USE OF EXTENSION CORDS Because of potential saf ety hazards, w e strongly discourage the use of an e xtension cord. Howe ver , if you wish to use an e xtension cord, use a CSA cer tified/UL-listed 3-wire (grounding) e xtension cord, rated 15A, 125V .

— 14 — 3 .3 T R OUBLESHO O TING GUIDE In general, possib le trouble is classified in two kinds. The one is called Starting Failure which is caused b y an electrical defect. The other is Ineffective Air Con- ditioning caused by a def ect in the refrigeration circuit and improper application.
