En-9 SLEEP TIMER OPERA TION T o Use the SLEEP timer While the air conditioner is operating or stopped, press the SLEEP button. Both the indoor unit ’ s OPERA TION indicator lamp (red) and the TIMER indicator lamp (green) will light. To Change the Timer Settings Press the SLEEP button once again and set the time using the SET TIME buttons.

En-11 SWING OPERA TION Begin air conditioner operation before performing this procedure. T o select V ertical airflow SWING Operation Press the AIR FLOW DIRECTION VERTICAL SWING button.
En-12 ● Before cleaning the air conditioner , be sure to turn it off and disconnect the power supply cord. ● Be sure the intake grille is installed securely . ● When removing and replacing the air filters, be sure not to touch the heat exchanger , as per - sonal injury may result.
En-13 When two or more air conditioners are installed in a room and the remote control unit is operating an air conditioner other than the one you wish to set, change the signal code of the remote control unit to operate only the air conditioner you wish to set (four selections possible).
