INTR ODUCTION This manual addendum describes functionality of FireStore units that ha ve f irmware v ersion 2.2 or abo v e. In order to determine what version of f ir mware y ou are using, hold do wn the (MODE) button for tw o seconds until the setup menu appears.
FireStore 1.3 Loop Mode Update It is no w possib le to identify different loop and pla y modes when FireStore is in ST OP mode. T o enter loop pla yback mode when F ireStore is stopped , hold do wn the (SHIFT/AL T) button for two seconds (the button will flash once in this mode).
1.4 Record Time Remaining Update It is no w possib le to monitor the record time remaining on a disk driv e w hile in record mode. T ime is listed in hours, minutes, seconds and frames. T o do this, put FireStore into record mode, and simply press the (MODE) button.
2.0 SLO W MO TION MODES FireStore allo ws you to pla y clips at slo w er than real time speeds. It is possible to pla yback NTSC clips at 15 frames per second (FPS), 10 FPS, 6FPS, 5FPS, 3FPS, 2FPS and 1 FPS. P AL clips can be play ed back at 12FPS, 6FPS, 5FPS, 4FPS, 3FPS, 2FPS and 1FPS.
3.2 QuickTime The QuickT ime f ile for mat was de veloped for better integration for Apple Macintosh users. QuickT ime f iles are designed to be used on Adobe Premiere, iMo vie and Apple Final Cut Pro on the Macintosh. The y can also be used with the Matrox R TMac versions of both Premiere and Final Cut Pro.

9.0 A UDIO CORRECTION MODES PLEASE NO TE: Audio Cor rection Modes is an advanced feature of F ireStore. It is recommended that you use the factory default settings for most operations. Audio Cor rection Mode allo ws you to alter the performance of the audio er ror cor rector while recording.
11.0 F ACT OR Y RESET F actor y Reset sets all of FireStore ’ s variab les to their factor y default settings. T o access F actor y Reset, hold the (SHIFT/AL T) button until it blinks. Ne xt, press the (MODE) button to get to the main menu. Cycle the different selections until y ou f ind "F actor y Reset".
