Safety Guard Assembly (D) & (E) 1. Locate the safety guard (D1) ov er the cutting head (D2) . Ensure the nylon line is fed thr ough the hole in the safety guard as illustr ated in fig D .

Do not allow cutting head to rest on the ground. Do not overload y our trimmer. Overloading can be av oided by making sure the motor speed does not drop unduly .
Auto Line F eed System How the automatic line feed w orks (P) 1. When initially switching on the trimmer , a small length of line is fed out. 2. A ‘clattering’ noise will be heard when the nylon line hits the line cutter . DO NO T BE ALARMED this is quite normal .
