Safety Guar d Assembly (D) & (E) 1. Locate the saf ety guard (D1) ov er the cutting head (D2) . Ensure the nylon line is f ed through the hole in the safety guar d as illustrated in fig D .

Auto Line F eed System How the automatic line f eed works (P) 1. When initially s witching on the trimmer, a small length of line is fed out. 2. A ‘clattering’ noise will be heard when the n ylon line hits the line cutter . DO NO T BE ALARMED this is quite normal .
