8 T ABLE OF CONTENTS A R1 502b-0920 8 BA TTER Y CHARGING R1 502b-0920 • Plug the charger connector into the battery 1 . • Plug the charger into a standard volt wall outlet 2 . Notes: - If power flow to the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, make sure the switch is “ON”.
R1 502b-0920 3 • Slide a 7 / 16 " washer onto the rear axle. • Slide a hubcap, indented side down, onto the rear axle. • Slide a wheel onto the rear axle. Make sure the ribs on the wheel face up. • Slide a rear wheel driver , ring side down, onto the rear axle.
R1 502b-0920 • Remove the protective caps from each front axle and throw them away . • Slide a 7 / 16 " washer onto one of the front axles. • Slide a round bushing, ring end first, onto the front axle. • Slide a wheel (ribbed side first) onto the front axle.
R1 502b-0920 11 10 TM 9 • Press firmly on the front of the cowling to snap the four , front tabs into the slots in the vehicle. Make sure the side and rear tabs stay aligned with the slots. Note: Pull up on the front of the front end of the vehicle while pressing down on the cowling to make sure the front tabs snap into the slots.
R1 502b-0920 15 14 13 12 • Slide the steering bushing, narrow side down, onto the steering column and into the vehicle neck. • Fit the steering column cap on the curved end of the steering column. • While supporting the steering column, insert a #8 x 3 / 4 " screw into the large hole in the steering column cap and tighten.
R1 502b-0920 Hint: Y ou may want the help of another adult to support the steering column near the steering linkage while assembling the handlebar to the vehicle. • Fit the handlebar assembly onto the end of the steering column. Make sure the handlebar grip area points towards the rear of the vehicle.
21 TM 14 ASSEMBL Y R1 502b-0920 • Insert six #6 x 1" screws into the handlebar assembly , as shown. Tighten the screws. • Fit a grip onto each end of the handlebar . If it is difficult to slide the grips onto the handlebar , moisten the grips with warm water first.
