7 W ARNING • The batter y must be handled by adults only . The batter y is heavy and contains sulfuric acid (electrolyte). Dropping the batter y could result in serious injur y . • Nev er allo w children to charge the bat- ter y . Batter y charging must be done b y adults only .
® • Plug the charger into a standard w all outlet. Note: If power flo w to the w all outlet is controlled by a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the batter y f or at least 18 hours. Ne v er charge the battery longer than 30 hours.
• P osition the vehicle body on its side . • Fit the str aight end of the steering column up through the square opening in the v ehicle body and out through the large round hole in the dash. Make sure the steer- ing column is positioned between the guides on the underside of the vehic le body .
10 7 • Using saf ety scissors, separate the activity panel and the instrument panel. Dispose of the plastic connector . • Apply labels 18 and 19 to the r adio dial.
• Rotate the top of the windshield to ward the front of the vehicle body . • Insert four #8 x 1” screws through the holes in the front of the windshield and into the v ehicle body . Windshield Slot • Fit the tabs on the bac k of the windshield into the slots in the dash.
• Align the tips of the scre ws with the holes in the other half of the spor t bar cov er and fit the two sport bar cover halves together . • Tighten the scre ws with a Phillips scre wdriver . 13 • Snap the gas cap assemb ly into the square opening in the rear of the v ehicle. (The gas cap tether should point down.) Gas Cap Assembly T ether 21 • With the sport bar positioned to angle towards the rear of the vehicle , fit the ends of the spor t bar in the holes in the vehicle body on either side of the seat.
14 • T urn the vehicle on its side . • Fit a tr action band around a wheel. • Slide a slotted scre wdriver under the tr action band to push the traction band onto the ridge in the center of the wheel. Helpful Hint: If the traction band is difficult to fit around the wheel, you ma y want to soak it in warm water to soft- en it slightly .

If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf ormation below for proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 min utes and call a ph ysician.

V ehicle was running but Loose wire or loose connectors Check all wir es and connectors. Make sure the battery suddenly stopped connector is tightly plugged into the motor harness connector , and that there are no loose wir es around the motors.
