Battery Charging Pb • Plug the charger connector into the battery . • Plug the charger into a standard 120 v olt wall outlet . Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the battery for at least 18 hours.
Assembl y F 12 • T urn the vehicle body upside down. • Fit the left sidepipe under the left (driver) side of the vehicle body . • Inser t two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws through the top of the left sidepipe and into the screw pegs on the underside of the vehicle body .
COOL HEAT 8 7 6 Dash Knob Plate K e y Assembly 13 • Snap the dash knobs into the knob plate . (See inset.) Note: Gently squeeze the tabs on the knobs together bef ore inser ting the knobs into the knob plate. • P osition the bottom edge of the knob plate in the opening in the dash.
• T urn the vehicle body upright. • P osition the steer ing wheel so that the spokes f or m a “Y” as shown. • Fit the steering wheel onto the steering column. • Fit a cap nut onto the end of the steering column. • T ap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the steering column.
15 • Fit the lens tabs on the back of a lens assemb ly into the headlight slots in the grille. • Press firmly to snap the lens assembly into the grille. • Repeat this procedure to snap the other lens assemb ly into the grille. Grille Ta b Slot 14 Brush Guard Bumper • Fit and hold the brush guard against the front bumper .
• Inser t a hood latch into one of the holes in the v ehicle body , near the hood area. • T wist the base of the hood latch 1 / 4 tur n to secure it in the vehicle body . • Repeat this procedure on the other side of the hood area to attach the other hood latch to the v ehicle body .
• Locate the battery compar tment on the lights and siren. • Loosen the scre w in the batter y compar tment door with a Phillips screwdriv er . The screw will remain in the door . • Lift the battery compar tment door to open it. • Inser t f our size “AA” (LR6) alkaline batter ies as indicated on the batter y compar tment door .
Hood T abs Slot Slot • P osition the hood ov er the front of the vehicle body . • Inser t the tabs on the hood into the slots in the vehicle body . Lights and Siren Cord Microphone Cord • Align the arrow on the lights and siren cord connector with the arrow on the microphone cord connector .
29 • With the seat at an angle, insert the tabs on the front edge of the seat into the slots in the f oot-well w all . • Push down firmly on the edge of the seat abov e each tab to snap the tabs into the slots . • Rotate the bac k of the seat down to snap the seat bac k tabs into the slots in the v ehicle body .
34 32 33 • Extend the canop y completely around the spor t bar . Spor t Bar Canop y • Using saf ety scissors, remo v e the spor t bar brack ets from the plastic connector . Dispose of the plastic connector . • P osition the spor t bar upr ight. • Fit a spor t bar suppor t through a tunnel in a rear cor ner of the canop y .
37 • Fit the spor t bar and spor t bar suppor t legs into the holes in the v ehicle body . • Push down firmly on a spor t bar side leg while pulling up on the side f ender to fit the spor t bar into the vehicle body . • Repeat this procedure on the other side of the vehicle body .
22 42 Assembl y 43 T aillight Lens T aillight Housing Rear Bumper Light Plate 41 • Lift the rear of the v ehicle. • Align the holes in the b umper tabs with the screw pegs on the underside of the v ehicle body . • Inser t two #8 x 1" scre ws through the bumper tabs and into the v ehicle body .

Pb Battery Installation H Important Note: Use only a P ower Wheels ® 12 v olt battery . Use of any other battery will damage your v ehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery f or at least 18 hours using the enclosed P ower Wheels ® 12 volt charger bef ore operating y our vehicle f or the first time.
