Battery Charging Pb • Plug the charger connector into the battery . • Plug the charger into a standard 120 v olt well outlet . Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the battery for at least 18 hours.
4 Dash Knob Plate K e y Assembly • Snap the dash knobs into the knob plate. (See inset.) Helpful Hint! Gently squeeze the tabs on the knobs together bef ore inser ting the knobs into the knob plate. • P osition the bottom edge of the knob plate in the opening in the dash.
Assembl y 6 5 13 Microphone Dash • Bend the plastic tip on the end of the microphone cord so that it f or ms a “T”. • Fit the “T” end of the microphone cord down through the hole in the dash pock et. Pull up gently on the microphone cord to make sure the end is secured in the dash.
Assembl y 11 Steering Wheel Steering Wheel Cov er Ta b Ta b Sound Bo x Compar tment Sound Bo x • Place the sound bo x, speaker side do wn, into the center of the steering wheel. • Fit the tab at the top of the steering wheel cov er under the top edge of sound bo x compar tment.
Assembl y 15 14 • Fit the lens tabs on the back of a lens assemb ly into the headlight slots in the grille. • Press firmly to snap the lens assembly into the grille. • Repeat this procedure to snap the other lens assemb ly into the grille. Grille Ta b Slot 13 Brush Guard Bumper • Fit and hold the brush guard against the front bumper .
Assembl y 16 19 Windshield F rame - F ront Half Hinge Pin Windshield Brac ket • Rotate the front half of the windshield frame do wn so it la ys flat on the v ehicle body . • W orking from the center of the vehicle , inser t a hinge pin through the holes in the windshield frame and the holes in the windshield brac ket, as sho wn.
• Inser t each end of the long seat belt strap through a slot in the center of the seat. Make sure the f asteners f ace the outer edge of the seat. • Pull each side of the long seat belt strap e v enly through the slots. Mak e sure to pull each T -loop through a slot.

KC TM Light Cov ers 31 • Align the tabs on the inside of a light cov er with the slots in one of the light housings on the KC TM light rac k. Note: Make sure the light co v ers are positioned with the wide tabs at the top . • Push firmly on the light cover to snap it to the light housing.
20 Assembl y T aillight Lens T aillight Housing Rear Bumper Light Plate • Using saf ety scissors, remo ve the taillight lenses and the taillight housings from the plastic connectors. Dispose of the plastic connectors. • F ace the rear of the vehicle.
21 37 Assembl y 36 • Lift the rear of the v ehicle. • Align the holes in the bumper tabs with the scre w pegs on the underside of the v ehicle body . • Inser t two #8 x 1" screws through the b umper tabs and into the v ehicle body . • Tighten the screws with a Phillips scre wdriver .

A new battery should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use.
